wow, this must have taken forever. It's amazing, good subject matter too, she's a gorgeous person. how did you do the fur? was it individual strokes, wacom or something else?

i need to check this more often!

thanks for the comment. loved this picture of her. couldn't resist. the fur was actually individual vector/pen layers in illustrator. worked from the darkest color to the lighest and just filled in the large areas and added the smaller strokes afterwards to enhance the details! took a long time but it was totally worth it.

Yes it was worth it, it's amazing. Individual pen strokes would indeed take forever. I think my computer would crash at the size of the vector file! =)
